The organic shapes they could form were fresh and new and the manufacturing process itself was well-catered to mass-production.

The original Molded Fiberglass Rocker (RFAR) was designed through an iterative process, as it was adapted from an earlier arm chair concept. The addition of the rocker base and its wide popularity is a true testament as to how versatile their shell concept was and still is. One of the most distinguished rocking chair designs of the last 100 years and without a doubt, the most recognized rocking chair within the genre of mid-century.
